The Unbroken Line: A Cast of Characters

Here’s a few views of Terry Svat’s solo exhibition, “The Unbroken Line: A Cast of Characters.” WPG intern Katherine Borah gives her take on the work:

“My favorite three prints are Renewal China, Renewal Haiti, and Renewal Chile. Each print includes an image of destruction caused by disaster in each country. The depth and minute detail used convey despair and heaviness. Directly above this is an image connected with multiple lines and buildings floating in space, drawn with simple lines and shapes. These parachute-like forms are symbols of rebirth and hope.”

The show is up through August 1, with an Opening Reception Friday, July 9, 5:30-8:00 pm, and Artist Reception on Saturday, July 17, 1:00-3:00 pm. Come in and see the Renewal prints, as well as the rest of Terry’s work and the July Member’s show.
