Three things to share with you today:
First, don’t forget that Rosemary Feit Covey will be in the gallery giving a talk/demo on Wood Engraving during our reception TOMORROW, 1-4 pm. If you like wood engraving or haven’t had a chance to see our show yet, this is a perfect time to stop by!
Second, check out the Old Print Gallery’s new blog! The current entry is about a mezzotint artist from the early 20th century (not the same as the mezzotint to the Left, which is a print in our upcoming Excellence in Printmaking exhibition).
Finally, Pyramid Atlantic is offering a 2-week intensive study program in Italy. The course,”Paper, Print and Book” is led by artist Lynn Sures with Giorgio Pellegrini of the Museum of Paper and Watermark, Fabriano, Italy, and runs June 14-29. Registration deadline is April 1, and the class costs $3000. Please note that this includes tuition and most materials, hotel with full breakfast in the historic center, transportation on most field trips. It does not include roundtrip transportation from the US to Fabriano or Rome, or travel insurance. Interested persons should contact Jose Dominguez.
