Ellen has been doing a lot lately, and, if you like her prints, we want to make sure you have a chance to check out some of the exhibitions in which she has been included:

Real People 2011 – At the Old Courthouse Art Center in Woodstock, IL.  This exhibition was juried by Dan Addington, of Dan Addington Gallery of Chicago and sponsored by the Northwest Area Arts Council, and runs August 5-September 26.  Opening Reception Saturday, August 27.  Full details at the link above.

American Landscapes – at the Maryland Federation of Art’s Circle Gallery in Annapolis, MD. Juried by Jack Rasmussen, Director and Curator of the American University Museum at the Katzen Arts Center in Washington, and sponsored by the Maryland Federation of Arts. Exhibition runs August 12 – September 10.

Art at the X – National Juried Exhibition at Xavier University Art Gallery, Cincinnati Ohio. Juror is Deborah Emont Scott, Director and CEO of the Taft Museum. Exhibition runs August 26-September 23.

    Great news! And a very fine monotype–I love tondos, and in this case the tondo heightens the precariousness of Ellen’s teetering buildings, a series I am much enjoying. And thanks, WPG, for giving us such great blogs: information and images in such a concise and readable way.
